Art Advisory

The Nordic Art Advisory was established in 2010 by British Art Historian, Gallery Owner and Founder Juliet Rees Davies. Designed specifically to support private collector, interior designers and organisations who wish to access unique, affordable international contemporary art and sculpture.

So what exactly does an Art Advisor do?

We acquire works for clients and help collectors build their collections. That includes both the primary market – through artists, galleries and art fairs – and the secondary market. Our role is advisory, access, and finding the right works. Sometimes it’s simply about making the right connections and sharing knowledge.

Our Art Advisory services provides guidance with over two decades of experienced within art sourcing. We structure and curate art collection working alongside existing works, or establishing a new collection for private or corporate clients.

We work independently on projects in the Nordics and internationally alongside our stable of established and emerging artists. Our experience in arranging private commission to create a unique artwork for a unique space brings an individuality to any art collection.

The Nordic Art Agency Podcast was established in 2020 and has been a strong platform creating conversations between artists and art influencers. This is just one of the ways that the Nordic Art Advisory integrates our commitment to art collecting, art and enhancing the experiences of the collector.

Interior Design

We have recently collaborated with Swedish design agency Dahl Agenturer. Together we work with architects, interior designers, and private individual to deliver products and art to offices, hotels, retail, learning environments and private homes.

Dahl Agenturer was founded in 1976 by Arne Dahl, who imported carpets on an agency basis – the first brand was the Belgian Louis de Poortere. The references were offices, hotels and other public environments such as the then new Foreign Affairs Hall at Arlanda.

In 1990, Alexander, Arne's son, joined the company and at the same time the range was expanded with furniture, lighting and bathroom fittings from Spain and Italy. Towards the end of the nineties, we introduced Santa & Cole to the Swedish market, a romance that still lasts today. Linda, Arne's daughter, joined the company in 1996 and today, Dahl Agenturer is owned and operated by Linda and Alexander Dahl.

The head office and showroom is located in Stockholm as well as Gothenburg and the Nordic Art Advisory is based in the Malmö showroom. Together we participate with knowledge and products in projects all over Sweden and internationally.

Book an appointment in the Malmö showroom with Nordic Art Advisory to view artworks and a range of Dahl Agenturer’s lighting, carpets, rugs and interior design elements.
